Hi!
We have a Frederick Sachow/Zachow b. circa 1827 in Germany. We know very little about him or what happened to most of his family. I think he was prob. married twice, the second time to a Johannah Drawz (b. circa 1845 in Germany) in Decorah IA. His first two children (Eliza/Louisa and William)were born in IL and the last three (Emeline, Henry, & Daniel) were born in IA. I think the first 2-3 children belong to his first wife. We'd like to find her name and when and where they were born. We are descendants of Eliza and Carl Drawz (Johannah's brother). It does get a bit complicated! We don't know where in Germany he was born, when he came to US, or even when or where he and Johannah died. Their last known residence is Hartford Twp., Todd Co., MN. They seem to have used both spellings for their name. If anyone has any information, I'd love to share. Thanks...
