I just found out there was a Carl in our line too. My sister said he had a son named Heinrich (1880's?) who married a Fredericka Lutter. they had two daughters Anna and Eliza and two sons Otto and John. Are the Carl and John a coincidence? Eliza was my mother's mother. Anna was her cousin Henrietta Anderson's mother. If any of these names ring a bell let me know. Perhaps Carl and John were favorite Zachow names?

Jeff
