In the 1850 census for Davidson Co., TN, I have a John L. Cabler 51, b. NC, wife Mary 36, born TN with their children. They m. 15 Jul 1835, so Mary would have been about 21 when she m. John Cabler. Living in the same household are Daniel Zachrie 19, b. TN (Laborer) and Caroline Zachrie 16, b. TN. I think Daniel and Caroline are younger siblings of wife Mary, but not sure. It's possible Mary could have married a Zachrie first, had Daniel and Caroline, was widowed, then married John L. Cabler. Zachrie was probably the spelling of the census taker, so not sure of Surname spelling. Can anyone help with identifying the Zachrie relationship? Could she have been Mary Ann Corbitt, m. Zachrie, then m. Cabler? J. C. Bell Notify Administrator about this message?
