Hi Ward-
We are indeed related. The obituary of your ancestor John Deuser (1799-1880) states that he was born in Limburg, but actually he was from Mensfelden [amt Limburg]. My line comes down through John's brother Philipp Wilhelm Henrich Deuser (1793-1858). I have spent a couple of months copying information on our line from microfilm that I'd ordered through the LDS library. I'd be happy to compare notes with you.
