Dear William , I am Working on my husbands Family (Zabel) his gggrandfather was Christopher Zabel. Christophers wife was Fredericka Garcher, both born in germany. They came over to the USA in the early 1800s, settled in Chicago Il. They had a son William, who married a Barbara Mueller, they had four children, Edward F , Dora, Robert Paul, Elmer William. Edward married Clara Mary Moser, settled in Akron Oh. had four children, Lucille, Harold, Ralph, William. Edward moved his family to Detroit Mi., then to Utica Mi.
