New to genealogy and need help. Researching Christian/Christajohn Zabel, b May 8, 1818 in Prussia. Married Wilhelmina Baesler, b Oct 25, 1830. Both died 1887 in Prussia. They had children: Daniel (1840), Carl (1856), Caroline (1859), Fred (1862), Ernastine (1865), Augusta (1869), Minnie (1871), Mary (1873).

I am of the Fred (1862) line. Fred immigrated in 1884 from Prussia. He was on his way to Wisconsin/Minnesota to other family members but never got out of Michigan. Fred married Rosa Kuehn in 1889.

Looking forward to linking up with other family members.
