Dennis, Thanks for your suggestions.I have scoured in the census records from 1910-30 for MANY hours and have yet to find William and his family. William was born in 1901 according to his SSDI recording. In what state I am clueless.Hence my request in this forum. I have also posted in the Delaware Pa forum hoping some kind person wil do a look up for me. We have communicated before and I am aware of your website where Robert H Yancey, my stepfather, Henry Boaden Anthony Yancey's (1923-2002)younger brother is shown as one of the distinguished members of the African American Yancey's. As I live in northern New Hampshire the chances of us going to Pennsylvania anytime soon are next to nil. But,be assured I am anxious to complete this branch of the Yancey genealogy.William and Dorothy did a wonderful job raising their children in the face of great odds and will be sure to share with you whatever I find when I do.I All the best and thank you for all your efforts in regards to tracing the Yancey surname.
