I am looking for any information regarding Samuel YEAKLE b.Sept.14,1870 in IndianSprings ,MD. His mother was Rebecca Risen also from IndiansSprings He is my grandfather but he left my father and my grandmother when my father was a baby. I know he was a fireman on the railroads in Western MD.
He was married to Rosa Violetta Brown Jones or had out of wedlock my father Berkley C. YEAKLE b.Dec.09, 1909.
My parents are deceased and I am an only child so I would like to know if I have any cousins running around the country. As I get older I am getting a need for family connections. Both my parents were only children except for a half sister of my father's to a marriage prior to Rosa hooking up with Samuel. Therfore family reunions are non- existent for me.
Would love to hear from anyone with info on YEAKLE'S in MD. or the surrounding area. I have hit a wall on this specific family.
