Hello Richard,
I am also curious of the Waddy surname and my family tree. I have read a few of what others have written regarding the Waddys' and was able to get some good info.
I am Darryl Eugene Waddy, born at Fordham Hospital in the Bronx, NY (1961). My Father's name is Edward Waddy, also born in NY (1938). He has great musical talent and was a fantastic artist. He married my mother, Leatriz (Mixed race of Black and Hispanic). They had two sons a year before me. Their names are Edward and Edwin Waddy (twins). Edward and Edwin are mentally retarded and live Upstate, NY. My Dad and Mom separated when I was about seven. My Dad conceived a child with another women and he is named Evin (my half-brother) Waddy. Evin has a daughter name Evin Kiara Waddy. Evin and I reside in the state of Georgia and my Mom and Dad still reside in NJ and NY. My Dad also has twin brothers, who are a year younger than I, named Ronald and Donald Waddy - they reside in Georgia. He also has a sister, Arlene Waddy. The race on my Dad's side is Black; however, from what I've been told, my Dad's father was a West Indian man... My Dad's mother was named Thelma Waddy (Bronx, NY), and deceased. There are others, but it would be too long to name them all.
I am curious to know which line I decended from...
