I don't know anything about Edmond Waddy's sister, but he was born in Leeds in 1621, married Dorothy Watson, and went to Ireland as a cornet with Cromwell's army.
I think you will find information on him in some of the posts on this forum under "Waddys of Clougheast Castle".
Also, there is a book by Leonard Waddy called "The Waddy Family", and another by R. V. Pockley called Ancestor Treasure Hunt - the Waddy Family".
