John MORRISON/MOIRSONE (27 Aug 1667-abt. 1739 Ulster, Ireland killed in seige of Londonderry) m. Unknown (abt. 1680 Scotland-Ireland) & they had at least 4 children:

Ephraim (abt. 1700 Ireland-Unk)
Samuel Morrison/Moisone (1700 Ireland-5 May 1801 PA)
Morris (Unk-Unk)
James (Unk-Unk)

Page 137 of Davis, William W.H., A.M. "History of Bucks County, Pennsylvania [New York-Chicago: The Lewis Publishing Company, 1905] Volume III:

"John Morrison...was a native of the north of Ireland, and was one of the great army of Ulster Scots who, having fled from religious persecution and internecine strife in theri native Scotia, took temporary refuge in the province of Ulster, Ireland, from whence many emigrated to Pennsylvania in the first half of the eighteenth century."

In various histories f the ancient morrison clan on Lewis Island [Hebridies, off NW Scotland] it is written that durin the latter half of the 16th century John Morrison, son of Hugh Morrison [ the brieve or judge]
