Estate to be divided between Mathew Waddell and all my children at decease of wife Elizabeth. To daughter, Teny Murphy, 1 shilling; Children: William, James, George, MARGARET [who married Wm. Jefferies?], Elizabeth, Polly, John, Frances. Exrs. wife and son William. Wit; Joseph Taylor, John Coppadge, James May. [page 134 Will Book 2 covering 1783-1796]

Mathew Waddell married Elizabeth Waddell 21 May, 1789, Fauquier Co VA.
William Waddell married Ann White 31 Oct 1786 Fauq. Co VA [of my direct line]
Seems like I read a story about Mathew Waddell becoming guardian or executor of a relative's estate [prob. John's above? if his widow was named Elizabeth]and marrying the widow. Can't recall the details. Maybe someone reading this will help.
