Looking for information on Hugh Waddell and his wife, Anna Powers Waddell. According to the 1880 census they lived in the Village of Wellston, Jackson County, Ohio, and he worked at blast furnace. They had three children according to the 1880 census; Delia age 6, James age 4 and Carrie, my great grandmother, age 1. Carrie married John H. Kirby in Wellston and later moved to Columbus, Ohio. Hugh and Anna later moved to (New) Straitsville, Ohio according to Carrie's obituary.
John Kirby was the son of William Kirby and brother of Noah.
