How do you know he married a widow of Christopher Kauffelt? The other Kauffelt marriages at Conodochly were for children of Nicholas Kauffelt. Also Annette Burgert, in her second volume on German Emigrants, identifies Bernardt Wacker as son of Ulrich, born in the Rhineland, 20 Sept. 1731, arrived on the "Dragon" 1749. He would have only been 25 when he married. Anna Margaretha, widow of Christopher (if he was dead in 1756) would have been at least 40.
I too am curious about Bernard Wacker-- suspect he and Margaret had a son, Elias, who later lived amongst the Coffelts in Shenandoah County, VA.
