You might try the above site. Its a wonderful source of information. They did a great job. There are surnames such as Dumais, Dugas, etc. with some genealogy, some history. I would be surprised if your Dugas aren't Acadian, some exiled to Quebec. You will find a great many Dugas' in the Port Royal area. A great many trace back to Abraham Dugas. I went through a genealogist to finally trace my line, too many turns and twists with these intertwined families. Another interesting place to go is to Google.com , type in Port Royal (or name of city), then Surname. You would be surprised by the wealth of information offered here. Good luck.
