I do not understand why you would hesitate to not believe that Cornelius Vader/Vedder is not the son of Boume Vader/Vedder. Cornelis that is living near his Father in PA. looks like to me that is your line. Born`t or Boume had several children but not all of them followed him to PA. I really don`t have evidence of where your Cornelius Vader/Veeder/Vedder was born, but you could be right about Jefferson County. Highway tax assesment says Bourn resided in Middlebury during 1840 as other Vader/Veeders did of whom were his brothers and sisters. But not everybody stayed in the same place as for some went to PA. and others to Wyoming and Genesee counties in the early years later migrated to Wisconsin and Michigan to live with their children. You are on the right tract and are lucky to have those cemetery records.
Cornelius Veeder b.3/12/1766 m. Caty V. Duicher Marriage and Baptisms Records, Albany DRC and SDR Church records including some Baptism records from the Wyanskill DRC. Together they had Nine children. Varient Spelling of the names found. Vader/Vedder/Veeder

They all are listed in the Vreeland Leonard Book on the Vaders/Veeders. Which can be found at the Elgin Vader web site.
