This is very much a long shot but in the Caney River Census for Smith Co Tn there are Vadens and living in the household is Calvin T. Perry, living in this area in 1850 is a Winston Perry. Then in 1860 these Vadens and Perrys have all moved to Hopkins County Texas and Winston Perry is living next door to a family of Vadens and Calvin T. Perry is living next door to Lodewick Vaden. Does anyone know of a connection between Vadens and Perrys? I do know that a Martha L Vaden married Felix G Ewing on April 4, 1865. Calvin T. Perry married Hettie Amanda Ewing November 7 1860. Felix Ewing could be Hettie's brother Felix Grundy Ewing. but I am looking for an earlier connection, maybe back into N. Carolina which is where these older Perry's and Vaden's hailed from. Can anyone help me concerning N. Carolina connection or Tennessee connection. Thank you Peggy
