Momty, Just got off the phone with the Haskell county clerk she has 2 births 1987 one girl one boy the girl's father is Charles Glen Vaden and the boy's father is Micheal David Vaden. Jones county is looking for any other Vaden's. The Haskell county Vaden's might have some history but I don't know where in Haskell county they live.
Erisdahl was named for the son of S.M. Swenson Eric that is a big ranch owner. He SMS gave the land for Erickdahl and Stamford.
Does Spring Creek ring any bells? It is out not to far from Erickdahl. We have always been told that we were part Indian but I have yet to find it. I will try to look for our family tree and see if I can find anything out. My gr.grandfather was James Amos Vaden son of John ? Vaden and they came here over the Albany hills covered wagon again not to far from Erickdahl. Vaden is not a common name here so I will do some more looking. matilda
