Monty, I have checked with the Jones County clerk and they have nothiing on Zadie or James. This just means they did not died in the county. Maybe Haskell or Taylor county have something. James is buried in the Stamford cemetary born 1915 died 1971 sec. 242, garden 4, row 226 E, block 4 grave 4. Your search caught my eye because my maiden name is Vaden. There are some Vaden's in the old part of the cemetary and some of my relatives are in another outside of town. Stamford is very small so most likely this is a Vaden relative I just have missed. What else can you tell me. The Indian story rings ture from family lore. I am wondering if Zadie is a child of Matilda and John Vaden? I'll keep looking. Matilda Vaden Bolin
