The parents of Augstin Vadeboncoeur are Francois Vadeboncoeur dit Boluse and Angelique Pleau (dau of Joseph Pleau & Madeleine Lefebvre). Francois is the son of Nicolas Boluse dit Vadeboncoeur, b. ca 1714 in Domptail-en-l'Air, Lorraine, France; d. Dec 1784 at Pointe-aux-Trembles, Quebec, PQ, Canada; a soldier in the Languedoc Regiment; and Catherine Godin (dau of Guillaume Godin & Marthe Godin).
