Your information has been helpful. Two things, first can anyone tell me where Loetzenberen, Germany is. I can't find it as such on any map. Second, I believe I descend from Anna Catherine Uber (Catherine) who married Henry Heasley (listed as Heinrich Hegsley)and who lived and died in Venango County, PA after moving from Westmoreland County.
They are listed in the 1850 census in Cranberry township. She was 65 years of age. He is said to have died in 1852. It is also the same year his son John, from whom I descend, died.
Does your bible have any of this information? Do you know of a will of Johannes Peter Uber that names the children? Everyone quotes the information used in this section but the sources are not named for the information and it would be really nice to know where the information came from. Can you help or can you point me? You help would be greatly appreciated.
