Deb,
I have a Samuel "Harry" Tackaberry who first wife was Anna but he was born abt 1867 in Ontario. This would eliminate him as being the parent. Most of my Tackaberrys are from the Goderich area in Huron County. If your research leads to this County, let me know. They eventually settled in Michigan primarily Bay County.
