I have seen postings that Stephen Washburn married Martha Tabor.
I have also seen postings that Stephen Washburn married Martha Bull (born 1743 in Quaker Hill, NY).
They moved to Bennington County, VT, where Stephen Washburn and Gideon Ormsby were elected the first representaties in the Legislature in 1778 from the Town of Manchester, Bennington County, VT.
The question is, did Martha Bull marry a Tabor/Taber, and Stephen was her second husband?
Or was Stephen married twice - with both wives named "Martha"?
