I have some new info for you regarding your family.
In my family tree, I have William Taber born between 1831 and 1834, died on 2-21-1907 in Oswego co. NY
married to: Welthy J.Hodge born 4-10-1840
Their children were:
Charles b. 1857
Sarah J b. 1859
Adelbert b. 1861
Anna May b. 1-24-1864
Sherman b. 1867
Clemance B. 1877

Unfortunately, I have no additional information on Charles. I have an updated family tree that I'm trying to post, but the system keeps timing out (UGGGHHHH!!!) I can go back quite a few years on the Taber side. If William is a grandfather in some respect to you (great...great great etc.) He is my great great great grandfather Lafayette Tabers brother.
Let me know if I can fill in any more gaps for you.
