Which Thomas REALLY married Rebecca Harlow?

Help!!! Everywhere I look, I get conflicting information in tracing my line from Lois Taber, back through Johnathan,Jonathan to Thomas, son of Capt. Thomas B. Taber. Which Thomas married Rebecca Harlow?? It seems the most prestigious authority says Thomas b.22Oct1668, son of Esther Cooke & Capt T.B. died young, yet he is named in John Cookes will dated 1694. Could this have mislead a lot of folks? Some researchers apparently think so. Or is Thomas, b.22Feb1680/81, son of Mary Tomson & Capt. T.B. Taber really the one who married Rebecca Harlow? Any proof one way or the other will be appreciated. Thanks, Edna
