I have a John Tabb, married Rebecca, but died in 1654. His father William passed shortly before his birth. They are from Devon and are obviously not your John.
If there is any chance you can trace your "John" back to these, I have a huge Tabb File and would love to work with you.
I was contacted last year by a man who was married to a Tabb and lived on a small island somewhere win the
British area. He stated there were only two or three Tabbs left in England, so there is little hope there.
