Patti,

Lawrence Taaffe, born Apr 1842 Ireland was married to Bridget unknown born May 1842 Ireland. Lawrence died 18 jul 1912 S.F and Bridget died May 1913. I have three children listed for Lawrence and Bridget. I send $20 to the Catholic Diaceas for information on The Taaffee. I do suspect that more related Taaffe's came into S.F. They kept the $20 and gave no reply. I certainly would make an appointment with the Catholic Church Diaceas and see what records that they have.

Sutro's could be of assistance. There old papers would have an ad if he advertised in the Newspaper.

So far I have not established Lawrence's parents so ship passenger records. That is also an option. The Morman Family History Center could be of an assistance there.

If you have a really good Library they could look up early history records for you. I have not done so since my time is limited with me taking college classes presently.

Myrna
