I am looking for any information on a person by the name of William P Maclay, he was a private with Company A, 43d Infantry, U.S. Volunteers. Maclay was a Medal of Honor Recipient. At the time of death he had lived in Philadelphia and was survived by his widow Daisy Heddinger Maclay and his son William H Maclay(Good source tells me that he might have served in the service and that he might still alive) also 2 daughters Katherine and Reginia that where still at home.
Date of death was August 1943
Died in a United States Naval Hospital in Philadelphia

PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE FATHER, SON OR DAUGHTERS PLEASE POST
