Bob,
That was kind of you to follow up to my questions. I don't know if the state was Illinois, Florida, or could be Alabama. He was born in Illinois, I found a record of him in Florida, his wife was born in Alabama and they both died in Louisiana.

I'll check out the sites you mentioned and see if I can figure it out.
