Without actually checking my records, off the top of my head, my husbands's people came over about this same time. The surname was Schweer-Saathoff they landed at New Orleans, and eventually settled in Quihi, TX. Some took the name "Schweers" and some took the name "Saathoff" since hyphonated names were not popular in America. There are "jillions" of Schweers and Saathoffs in the Medina County, TX area.E-Mail delorisriley@satx.rr.com
