Hi Sue!

I have no information about Gerd Saathoff or his wife, Antje Schmidt, other than 1 child was Frances. Frances was born on April 1, 1852 in Bangstedt Germany.

She married Eilert Siebens (from Riepe, Ostfriesland) and migrated to US. Lived first in Illinois. She died in Plymouth co., Iowa on Sept. 11, 1933.

Their daughter was Engelena, born in Minok, Ill. on June 6, 1891 and died on April 30, 1968 in LeMars, Iowa. Engelena was known as Lena and she was my great grandmother.
