I have no idea where this George is from except that is probably Illinois. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate anyone connected to or knows about the Saathoff family I am researching. My great grandfather's sister married a Saathoff. I don't know what his given name is. The photo belonged to my great grandfather and his daughter by his second marriage gave it to me. She didn't remember much about them. Looking at again, it may have been taken in the 40's. There is the husband and wife, a young woman who appears to be in late teen's or early 20's, another girl about age 14 or 15, a girl about 10 and a boy about 8.
