Rains b. 1834 in Louisiana by Phyllis Littrell of 1858 I am descended from James Jackson Rains whose sons moved from Warren, CO, TN to Natchitoches/Sabine Parish, LA between 1845/1850. The name George appears several times in among descendants of James Jackson Rains but I cannot find one married to "Ella". Were your ancestors reisdents of Natchitoches and/or Sabine Parish, LA?
