Hello Catherine
I am a great grand-daughter of Michael Louis, grazier, wool buyer from Goulburn/Crookwell, who died in about 1966. I've been trying to search out the Rabinowicz side of the family for several years. My grandmother was Esther Louis, who married Abraham Falk. They had 3 children, Norman, Jean and Keith (who was my father). To my knowledge, none of the rest of my 7 brothers and sisters have successfully tracked anything on the Rabinowicz link, other than that Alec was in NY and Mosah was, in the 1920's, living in Letuwa, Russia. I didn't know my great great grandfather was a rabbi, nor that he was married to Fanny Kossak. Interestingly, though, one of Michael's daughters was called Fanny.
I live in Bathurst, NSW and would love to hear whatever info you have.
