Hi,

My Mom is a Rabideau from Mooers Forks so I'm related. I'm not sure if you are aware but there is a complete book that was put together by Clyde M. Rabideau called "The Robidous in North America." He has written several books on the Robidou, Robidoux, Rabideau and about 20 other family name spellings. Like me, your ancestry started with Andre Robidou who moved from the Basque Region of Spain/Lower part of France in 1643 and who moved to Quebec in 1666. Your grandfather is listed in this book along with grandmother. I'm happy to share more if you want...
