Enos Rabe, born ca 1898 Illlinois - lived in Pennsylvania

Looking for any information on Enos Rabe born in Illinois around 1898. I have very little on Enos. He was in the Army and was station in the 1920 census in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I do have a photo of him taken around that time with his cousins. Enos was still alive in 1940 per his father's obituary. The obit. said that Enos was living in Philadelphia, PA.

This is what I have on his family:

Enos' parents are "Fred" Friedrich Heinrich Wilhelm Rabe and Cora B. Aikman married May 20, 1894, Union County, Illinois.

Fred was born September 16, 1863 in Elivese, Hanover, Germany (per the church records); however his headstone has "1867" which is definitely incorrect as the family came to America in 1866. He died October 21, 1940 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois.

Cora was born in Union County, Illinois abt 1876. Even though divorced she was listed on the Fred's death certificate as still living in 1940.

Enos had one brother, Audie and one sister, Eva Mae (Mae may have married a Eugene Goodman - I still need to verify). Both siblings were born in Illinois. Audie in May 23, 1895 and Mae ca 1898.

Fred and Cora divorced before 1920, probably sometime around 1910'ish as Fred is already living with his sister Sophie Ahlvers and her husband Fritz in 1910 census.

Unfortunately, I do not know if Cora remarried, she probably did as I can not find her or children in 1910 census. Nor have I yet to find Fred (and his family) in the 1900 census.

Any input would be most appreciated.

Carole
