There is an interesting connection between the Rabb and Robertson lines: Thomas Woodward (1700-1738) md Mary Simpson of Prince William Co., VA; their son Thomas Woodward (1728-1779) md Jemima Collins and they were the parents of Nancy Woodward who md Robert Rabb. Thomas Woodward Sr. died and his widow Mary Simpson Woodward md John Robertson (1710-1798); they had a son William Robertson (1748-1824) who md Nancy Hawley and had son Thomas Robertson who md Harriett Ross; they were the parents of William Ross Robertson who md Elizabeth Caroline Rabb. So Mary Simpson is the great great grandmother of both Elizabeth Rabb and her husband Wiliam Robertson.
