I am Merrillyn Rabb Smejkal and I've been researching my family history. If there is anyone who can add to the connections mentioned, I would appreciate any input. I am a direct decendant of James Poindexter Strayhan and Sara Pricilla Bush Patterson. James' 1st wife was Lucretia Jane King so James' line of decendants comes down from two wives and therefore, I have half relatives on the King and Strayhan line. Have quite a bit of data but more would fill in the blanks, especially on the Rabb side. My father was John Reuben Rabb, son of James Herron and Kate Dean Strayhan Rabb (daugher of James Poindexter and Sara). His oldest brother was James Woodard Rabb.
