Since that post I have been searching for sources, and it appears they may be rosters and a history of the 1710 Anapolis-Port Royal expedition in either the NEGHS or the Massachusetts Historical Society libraries. Will post on this forum when I get exact details.I know the "blue peter" web site. I also had a Towle ancestor who died in 1745 after the fall of Louisbourg to new england militia, and I found a lot of information on that at "blupete". The Philip towle I am looking for returned to Hampton,NH after whatever his military service was, and died the in 1717 I believe.
