FAO Interested distant relatives, I'm not at all into family trees yet, but I came across this web site today and looked up my family name out of curiosity and found a post by Barbara from March last year. You will have to forgive my lack of detail for now because I have not researched my tree at all yet, but I can tell you:- My Grandfather Jim (James) Quarry came from Roxburgh Scotland and had two sons (Robert & James) and two daughters (Crissie & Lillie). My grandmother died just after I was born having been ill for some time so I never knew her. My father Bob (Robert) Quarry, died aged 57 in 1990. He was best of friends with my grandfather who died a year later. My grandfather was burried at Roxburgh and my father at Greenlaw. I have no reason to believe the family moved to Roxburgh recently so there may be a link back to your group. If any of this is of interest to you then let me know and I can find out some more details. Notify Administrator about this message?
