Hello! I have been looking at a family tree for three years of the Quanstrom/Quarnstroms found at Knox County,Illinois. When my husband was alive he believed that his Quanstrom family was mostly found in Chicago and Seattle.
Discussions with his cousin have led me to the 1920 census and a discovery that the Knox families were once found in the same neighborhood as my husband's Quanstrom families. I also now have a better understanding of the tree and believe indeed, that my husbands grandparents, Alfred Joel Quanstrom (he dropped the "r" at Ellis Island, NY)who descended from Per-Alfred Quarnstrom and Lydia Pedersen Quarnstrom Widsten and Beda Marie Engberg who descended from Susanna Quanstrom and Carl Engberg, were the neice and nephew of Carl Axel Quanstrom, brother to the ascending parents.
If anyone knows who submitted the data for WFT Vol 3 could they please contact me? OR
