I am looking for information about a John ross that lived through the war, he was in Quantrills raiders.
his wife killed him in self defense shortly after the war. I don't know if it was his son or the father that was in this regiment. so is there someplace we can order this sort of confederate civil war papers? John Sr was born in KY and had his kids in ohio before the war. Johm Jr names his son dewitt which I have learned is one of william Quantrills other names . anyway I would like to be able to figure out which of them was in the regiment. thanks for any help renee
