Dear Richard,
apologies for the delay in replying to your message! we have been away on holiday! I have been carrying out a search on my family for quite a while now and although its a long job, it is proving very interesting!!!
My parents divorced when I was very young, therefore it is personally very important to me to trace my "blood family".
My father,Frederick ernest Quantrill was born 8th nov 1902 in Lowestoft his parents,Edward and Mary Ann (nee,Reynolds)had 12 children(I think!) They were....
Jane;Jenny:Elizabeth;Edward;susanah;Arther;Alice;Annie;George;James;Joseph; and Frederick(my dad).
From your comments, it does seem likely that we are related!I do hope so!Would you please reply with any other info that you might have? Do you have many living relatives in Lowestoft? My wife and I have visited the small village in norfolk where I beleive the family originated from...Bunwell.It was a fascinating visit!
