Hi I am looking for connection to Quance family in Onondaga and Syracuse area first half of 20th century. My mother in law's father was LOUIS QUANCE and his mother was MARY DUBAY(sp?) and father WILLIAM QUANCE. He was reputed to be from Ontario or Quebec. She'd always thought he was french, but since there was an early divorce in family, she never knew for sure. Years later she did run into Mary living in Syracuse, I think. Are you related to the Quantz family in Ontario that has an extensive website complete with pictures of Markham Quantz? He looks a lot like my mother in law...
