Fred, Thanks so much for responding. I am delighted to connect with you. My grandfather was Fred Burdette Quance. I am the daughter of Fred's only son, William Charles Quance. Do you have any memories of you great-grandfather, William Theron?
Was you Dad by some chance in the printing or newspaper business? I have a memory of visiting with my Dad to what I remember as his cousin, Fred Waterman, who ran a small newspaper business. We actually visited with him in the newspaper office. That would have been about the late 50's, I think. I was born in 1943, my sister in 1948.
How much do you know about the family genealogy? I would be most happy to share. I will contact with you privately to exchange information.
I live in Atlanta, and have been searching for our great-great grandparent's parents and siblings. I know their names were Joseph (1812-1881) and Lucetta Morgan (1820-1894)Quance, but have been unable to find their people.
