Hi! Just doing some idle net surfing, and discovered you. I was born Edgware, Middx March 15, 1946, my brother David was born January 27, 1942, and my sister Ann (now Barber) was born April 24, 1939. Our father, John Gordon Quance was born June 22, 1906 - yes, he's just turned 95. His father was Frank Gordon Quance. Interested to see you live in Devon. I thought we had an uncommon name until I visited Okehampton many years ago, and came across loads, and saw my name above a shop. I emigrated to Canada, April 1975, and live just outside Toronto, Ontario. At last count there were almost 20 Quances listed in the Toronto phone book - I'm not one of them. My daughter Emma was born April 17, 1976 in Newmarket, Ontario. Good luck with your search.
