Joshua Quance was my gx4 grfa and although I haven't proved he was b in Somerset England, it seems possible that he was. Joshua was in the Am Rev, joining from Braintree MA. After the war he moved to Chesterfield MA and had 9 children with his wife, Silva(Sylvia)COLE da of Ebenezer Jr. Children are Joshua Jr, b 1784, Rachell b 1786, Ebenezer b 1787, Isaac b 1788, Thomas b 1790 (my line), King Henry b 1793, Hannah b 1795, Elizabeth/Betsey b 1796, and James 1797. I would be very pleased to hear from anyone working on the children of Joshua and Silvia. Most went to NY but my line stayed in MA.
