Rachel, I'm trying to find out more about the exact lines of the sons of Joshua QUANCE Rev War Vet of MA, who went to NY and were there early in the 1800's. Names are Isaac, Joshua Jr (poss), King Henry. There were more sons, but my line - Thomas - seems to have stayed in MA or at least died there, and I think the others didn't survive infancy. I'd love to hear from you if you think there may be a link to Joshua - the only early QUANCE in MA that here are records for.
