I just found out my 2nd G-Grandma was born in Norway with the name Kvammen - it was listed as Quam on her daughter's death certificate ( possibly anericanized or they guessed on the spelling?)

I just sent away for Karen's death cert. - hopefully her parent's names will be listed... otherwise I have no other info!

She married Erik Sveve definitely from "Thronhjem."
