My family originates from County Leitrim, Ireland and immigrated in the mid 1800s to Pontiac County, Quebec which has a municipality (township) called Clarendon. My family settled in Leslie township just north of Clarendon. There are a number of Telfords (a variation of Trelford?) there including a James Telford.
My Great-great grandfather Thomas Queale (Quaile) would have been born about 1800 and lived in Mayo Townland, County Leitrim, Ireland. His sons Micheal and Robert and daughter Mary Jane came to Leslie. Robert named one of his daughters Susan. Can there be a connection here? Could my Thomas and your Susannah be siblings?
